Concerning what he and his teammates must do in order to round up the regular season with a victory, he said: “We just need to play our game. This means that we need to be calm since the stadium will be full, and there will be much competition. Basically it will be 10 players and the coaching staff, and we must go in there to win the game. We will not have any one else with us, so the only thing left to do is to play the way we know how to, and not pay attention to what is happening in the stands. Nothing should throw us off concentration and this is generally a good test for us before the Play Offs, so that we can rightly prepare and be ready. So this was actually good for us that the match against P.A.O.K. was the last one before the Play Offs”. The most positive thing for ARIS TT Bank is that right before the beginning of the Play Offs, Gordon Herbert’s players are not just winning, but they are doing so by great differences in the score, and at the same time, they are played excellent basketball. In other words, it is the right time for the team to increase their performance, with Washington saying that: “Now is the time that all of our efforts will be rewarded. During a professional sports season, it is logical that there will be ups and downs. The good thing for us was that we went through the downs early in the season, and now we are playing good basketball. And I believe that this is just a sample of what we can truly do on the floor. People will soon see that we are able to play much better both on a group level and on an individual level. In the beginning, it should be understood that each player on the team was trying to understand the way the other player would play. That is why there were some games that we lost, when we should have won them. But all of this just prepared us properly for the Play Offs”. Request for the presence of a public prosecutor Today, ARIS BC requested from the athletic prosecutor of Thessaloniki, Mr. Bakela that there be present at least one public prosecutor during tomorrows match (23/04) against P.A.O.K.
